Andrée began writing as a young girl. It was her way of escaping from the dysfunctional life that her family lead.
Much later in life, armed with more to say and a need to say it, she authored and self published a book titled "Out from Under" with very little assistance. Mirroring the poetry of her childhood writing, she used that book as a way of creating something for those who may have shared her earlier need for escape by examining difficult topics in a candid manner that remains her signature. After undergoing revisions the book was released in 2008 along with a companion workbook. This one act was a life changing one.
Having already tackled difficult topics in non-fiction form, Andrée took a chance and began writing Christian fiction. Her first fiction novel "The Red Envelope" was published by Unlock Publishing in 2010. This project had more momentum then her last and she, along with playwright Elaine Hutchinson of Dreaminsitry brought "The Red Envelope" to the stage. It was during that process that she began to take her hobby of writing to heart.
She has loaned her writing to Dr. Harrod in the Fragmented Heart Healers Project (Unlock Publishing). This phenomenal project was used as a healing tool. She also completed her second non-fiction book "A heart, a hope and a hope" in November 2011. Additional projects will be released in the coming months, including a hotly anticipated sequel to "The Red Envelope", entitled "In the Midst of it all"

Currently she writes and gives proceeds of each book that she sells to the Just 4 Us Foundation, a non profit organization that impact the quality of life for children with special needs and at risk youth.
